Chapter 9: THE END

Definitely NSFW below the cut!
“Where is she?” Copia commanded as he and Celeste reached the bottom of the main stairs. He felt in his core that the arrival of their visitor was a sign, though he knew not of what. Celeste squeezed his hand tightly, still nervous in the presence of them. The pack of ghouls, unnerving even now as they grunted and growled amongst themselves before her. It was only a moment before one of them spoke, but for Celeste it felt a lifetime.
“We brought her to the chapel Papa. she awaits you both.” the ghoul called Aether replied. Copia’s eyebrow perked, Celeste taking note. It was as if something had occurred to him, like a moment of deja vu swept across his face. A fleeting thought passing, leaving Celeste in the dark.
“What?” she asked, needing to know what was going on in his head. What did he realize that she hadn’t? Copia caressed her face and gave her a deep kiss. The intensity of his mouth on hers—reminding her of how much she belonged to him. That nothing would ever harm her as long as he lived.
“Just seems peculiar to me that your mother came here at all…and alone.” he said, mulling over the implications. Celeste wasn't surprised she wanted to see her. Lucy thrived on being able to control her daughter and so of course she’d take any opportunity presented to her. What did surprise Celeste, was that she was able to be found.
She had, in fact, packed up that day and left everything behind. Wondering at first who was the first to come looking for her at the old apartment. Shocked when they were met with the putrid corpse of her ex decomposing on the floor—and Celeste nowhere to be found. Maybe it had been Lucy? Celeste wondered now how she found her with no letter or any indication as to where she’d gone.
They all continued on down the hall, Celeste gripped tighter to Copia. The hallway in the evening had always left her feeling petrified. It felt as if the cold, hollow eyes of paintings seemed to follow her then. Even now, as they approached the archway into the chapel, this place she now called home, still managed to make her hair stand on end. The unease inside her, steadily growing as she caught sight of her mother.
Lucy stood up from one of the front pews as soon as she heard them approach. The smile on her face, making Celeste immediately suspicious. She rushed towards her daughter and Copia, arms held out wide, when yet another set of ghouls materialized in front of her. Blades drawn and teeth bared. She immediately stopped, her blood running cold as the ghouls hissed and snarled at her.
“I—I mean no harm.” Lucy assured them, trembling in their presence. Copia wanted to laugh, knowing all it would take was a snap of his fingers and the ghouls would devour her whole before his hand rested. He saw her as no threat—though Celeste still felt the hum of something brewing. She knew her mother’s manipulative nature and that, while she may say she means no harm, she was still very much up to something.
“What is it you’ve come here for?” Copia demanded, his demeanor calm and collected. Waving his ghouls to stand down. Lucy was shaken, the color returning to her fingers as she loosened her grip on the back of the pew. Still unable to fully relax, even with the ghouls now retreated. She slowly continued towards her daughter and Copia, taken back by them as she finally was able to process what she’d seen. Keeping her eyes fixed on them, even as she saw flashes of the ghouls scouring the walls in her peripheral vision.
Copia was something to behold, his demeanor giving Lucy the impression she should be bowing before him. Standing there in his majestic robes of bronze and deep sapphire. His miter, tall and shimmering in the light from the chapel's candles. His face paint, working to instill a sense of fear and respect. This was the man who fathered her daughter’s child, the man who was destined for her—the Antichrist himself. Lucy could hardly bear the intensity of his presence and as she turned her gaze to her daughter her breath was stolen from her lungs.
She couldn’t help but awe at her. Celeste was every bit the Queen she was born to be. Seeing the two of them together was overwhelming. Celeste’s pronounced belly under her lavish gown—the culmination of years of planning that had finally taken place. A plot now, Lucy was abject to have taken part in.
“I’ve come to see my daughter.” she said, her eyes falling back to Celeste’s stomach. Lucy sighed heavily as she stared at it. Taking a moment before making eye contact with her daughter once again. “Oh Cece, the baby is almost here isn’t he?” she asked, the hint of sorrow and bitterness held in her voice.
“Ye—what is it you want mother? As far as I am concerned you have no business here with my husband and I.” Celeste snapped, trying her best to show dominance. Tight mouthed and standing tall beside Copia. It was nothing but a thin veil, hiding her hesitation and fear of her own mother. A fear Lucy could always spot, like a shark senses blood in water.
“Husband?” Lucy asked, acting as if any of this was a surprise to her. She knew deep down the truth. A truth that she now grappled with telling Celeste. Wondering if her confession, her contrition would make any difference to their fate.
“We were wed once we arrived here… but beside the point mother you don’t belong here. I suggest you return home.” Celeste replied with her whole chest. Prideful in standing up to her mother. Lucy, of course, appeared shocked and hurt before nodding in acceptance.
“...I will take my leave then. Though there really isn’t any way for me to get to the train station this late at night—-and lord knows when I would be able to get a hold of the airline to book a flight. Might I impose upon you to stay just until morning.” she begged. Copia could feel Celeste’s grip tightening up once again on his hand. He was sure that his hand would suffer permanent nerve damage from the intensity of her clutch. It was obvious to him she was nervous, but something told Copia that Lucy should stay.
“Amore…what do you say? One night won’t hurt things will it?” His words, purred into Celeste’s ear. She pulled away, eyes staring widely at him. It was astonishing to her that the literal Antichrist would provide her more love and comfort, despite all that had transpired between them, than the woman who birthed her. It was however true and here they were, Celeste leaning into Copia for safety as she cowered inside at her mother’s presence.
“I guess.” she conceded, watching Lucy’s face fill in delight. It made her sick to her stomach. The same woman who allowed Morty to hurt her, in all ways possible, now freely staying in what was supposed to be her sanctuary.
“Thank you Cece, thank you…uh…” Lucy began, realizing that she didn’t actually know the man’s name—only what he was.
“Ah yes, please allow me to introduce myself, I am Papa Copia Emeritus the Fourth.” Copia testified straightening the lay of his robes across his chasuble.
“Well then, let's get you settled.” Celeste began, turning to face the ghouls. “Aether, would you please escort my mother to a guest room in the west wing? She can stay there for the night.”
“With pleasure.” The ghoul replied, heeding her command as he and another ghoul grabbed the bags Lucy had left in the pews. Turning his head and motioning for her to follow him. Lucy caught on quickly to his meaning and, despite her fear, followed along behind him. As her mother disappeared from the chapel, Celeste felt her head begin to ache. A rushing feeling sent through her, leaving her lightheaded and fatigued as she brought herself to sit down in one of the back pews.
“Amore, are you alright? Is it?” Copia asked worriedly, dropping to his knees at her side. Hand held gently on her belly.
“I’m alright, just tired today.” she assured him with a soft smile. “I just need a minute.”
“Take your time cara…seems I have been too rough with you this evening. I suppose it’s too close now for me to be…so indelicate with you.” he mused.
It was clear from the cloud cover and the roar of the thunder outside, that a storm had begun. The sun, now almost completely eclipsed by the moon. The sky hued with the color of blood. The lighting began to crash across the Heavens, raging with fury of what was to come. The unsettling silence at dinner between Copia, her mother, and Celeste, leaving her feeling even worse.
“I will be fine…but I am telling you Copia, there is something else going on. That woman has never wanted anything to do with me my whole life, except to control me. If she is here, it's for a reason.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Copia noticed it too. Celeste now seemed weaker and more tired than ever. He wondered if things were closer than he realized. “Amore, why don’t you go rest. The signora and I can manage.” Copia insisted. Celeste would have protested, but she felt since her mother’s appearance, her energy level had dwindled. Chipped away little by little, slowly leaving her with each passing moment.
“Maybe you're right. I shall take my leave. Mother.” Celeste nodded at Lucy, getting up slowly from the table in the Papal wing of the Abbey and headed off to her and Copia’s chambers. She walked slowly, cradling her heavy belly in her arms. The weight of everything, including her child, was becoming harder to bear. She needed the rest more now than ever as the time drew nearer to the child’s birth and to the beginning of war between Heaven and Hell.
Like a sparkling crackle of fire, the sky lit up once more with lighting. The light, bathing Celeste in a rainbow of color as it shined through the stained glass. When she made it back to their suite, she collapsed on the bed. Feeling completely drained and unable to move.
Back in the dining hall, Copia stared ominously at Lucy as he took a sip from his glass of wine. Lucy fiddled with her napkin in her lap. Adjusting in her seat as if her pants were filled with sand. It was obvious she was nervous and that her being there was suspicious. It would be hard to convince Copia otherwise.
“You know…your daughter is smarter than you think.” Copia said as he set his glass back onto the table. Resting his chin on the backs of his hands as he continued his glare at her.
“I beg your pardon.” Lucy said, feigning ignorance to his words. She knew what he meant but she had to keep up her side of things and pretend.
“I think your part in all of this would be much better heard from your mouth than if I tell her, don’t you think?”
“I am not sure what—”
“Puoi smettere ora Lucy, siamo solo noi due. So per cosa sei venuto qui.” Copia growled watching the fake smile slip away from Lucy’s face.
“Ah so you know?” she asked him. Copia chuckled a bit, returning to his glass of wine as he rose up from the table and approached her. Lucy sat straight up in the chair, frozen as Copia approached her. When he finally reached her, he bent down to whisper in her ear.
It was hours later when Celeste awoke. Her head once again pounding and a pain searing from her belly overcoming her. It was far worse than she had ever felt in her entire life as it traveled from her back towards her belly. Tearing through her as she glanced over at the clock, 3:33 in the morning, she thought to herself. Celeste was frightened, teeth clenched in pain—it was time.
“I do and I know why you’ve come here. Make no mistake…they will fail.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When she went to roll over, she found only Copia’s spot empty beside her. She did her best to sit up, holding still a moment as her vision blurred. Where could he possibly be right now, she asked herself. When she went to stand up, a rush of fluid came pouring out from inside her.
“Oh fuck.” she cried aloud, wincing in pain but before the words had even fully left her lips, she could hear them. Voices of men, growing closer and closer, coming from outside in the hall. Her blood ran cold. Every nerve firing, urging her to run as fast as she could.
She knew she wasn’t going to get far, not like this. She struggled to pull herself over to the large armoire at the other side of the room. Tucking herself beneath the hanging clothes to hide. Biting into her lip to keep from screaming out in pain.
It took everything in her to hold still, shaking uncontrollably as the pains returned. The voices, now clearly inside the room as the tears began silently streaming down her face. She begged in that moment, to whatever god would listen, to keep her baby safe. That Copia would rescue her—but no one came.
“She has to be on the grounds somewhere.” said one of them, Celeste terrified as she watched from the cracked doors of the armoire. She could only make out the shadows as they passed in front of it, a total of five men had entered her room. All of them shrouded in black, bearing rosaries at their waist. The crucifixes, making a quiet tapping sound as they moved about the room.
The storm continued raging outside as Celeste hid from the holy crusaders rummaging through her room. Desperately in search of her before it was too late. “We will find her, Lucy said she was here.” said one of the other men. Immediately Celeste’s eyes widened, they were there because of her mother. She had felt it and if it wasn’t already apparent, now she was certain the men were there to harm her.
“Cardinal Mariano…” one of the bishops said, motioning for the Cardinal to look down. When he did, he noticed the trail of water. It started at the side of the bed and continued until just outside the armoire. The light from the storm outside, illuminating the small puddles across the wood floor. They had discovered where she was hiding—just in time the Cardinal thought.
The men got silent, Celeste beginning to only hear the sound of her heart pounding as the door came flying open. Revealing her to the men. “There you are whore.” a bishop proclaimed, yanking Celeste out onto the floor. The group of men, working quickly to surround her.
Celeste cried out in pain as she hit the ground. Another contraction overtaking her, with the next not long behind it. She struggled hard against them. Spitting blood into one of their faces from the bite in her lip, but there were just too many.
Before she knew it, they had gagged her. The fabric, burning at the edges of her mouth as she fought to scream. The men carried her over to the bed, holding down her limbs as the Cardinal climbed on top of her. “Give them to me now. We haven’t much time!” he commanded as one of the other men pulled a black leather parcel from within his jacket.
The Cardinal rolled it out across the bed beside her. Celeste, still fighting to break away from them as she caught sight of its contents. It was a glint from the blades, made from celestial stone, that gave them away. Seven of them, forged in the time of Christ in preparation for this very moment. The Seven Sacred Daggers of Megiddo, ready to extinguish Satan’s progeny on Earth.
Celeste cried, warm tears drenching her hair as she thrashed about below the Cardinal. His thighs, pressing tighter along her sides in an attempt to keep her still. They needed to hit things just right for the daggers to do their job. The men began to chant, flicking holy water over Celeste’s body—stinging as the drops hit her flesh.
She managed to dislodge the gag, a blood-curdling screaming surging from within her and filling the room. “No! Please don’t hurt my baby! Copia! Copia!”
“Will you shut her up!” the Cardinal hissed, another of the men quickly attempting to re-gag her. Celeste bit hard to his hand, the blood filling her mouth as he managed to muffle her screams. The daggers began to glow beside her—still no Copia, or anyone, to be found. Celeste feared that they may already be dead and that it too would be her fate.
The Cardinal picked up one of the daggers, whispering prayers under his breath before kissing the hilt. He held the dagger high above Celeste’s belly, both hands gripped hard to steady it. “Hac sacra pugione summa mali extinguimus. Ut animam a mortali cortice solvamus…” he chanted and suddenly Celeste felt as if she were below water.
The sound drowned out within the room and a sudden rush of energy, bursting through her. She turned her head, just as the dagger began to descend upon her, and saw Copia along with her mother and a pack of ghouls rushing into the room.
“Enough!” Copia commanded, the power exploding from inside him in a fiery heat as he willed the Cardinal across the room alongside his men. Their bodies bashing against the stone walls with full force. All of them clutching their sides as they began to bleed from within.
“Are you alright?” Copia asked, rushing to Celeste’s side. The daggers, losing the shine once emanating from them. All Celeste could do was nod, holding tight to her dark prince when another contraction hit. Copia’s eyes widened in realization.
“The baby is coming.” Celeste cried. Copia kissed the top of her head, his attention however stolen by the sound of the Cardinal coughing from across the room. The ghouls had surrounded them, waiting for the indication to strike, when Copia approached them. Celeste’s mother, coming to her side in his stead.
“We (cough, cough) have seen your face.” The Cardinal stuttered, blood running down the side of his mouth as his whole body shook in fear. Copia stood over him, menacing and powerful. “...carved in stone and painted in ancient lands. (Cough, cough) It is you the devourer of worlds, darkness incarnate, bringer of the end of days.”
“Yes…Cardinal Mariano, it is. I am the man born of humanity and sired by the old one. It is my dynasty that shall rule for the next millennia as I watch your god’s paradise burn to the ground.” Copia laughed, watching as horror filled the Cardinal’s eyes. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I am about to become a father.”
“No! No! No!” the Cardinal cried. Copia snapped his fingers and in an instant, the ghouls attacked the men—eating them alive. The sounds of tearing flesh and screaming thick in the room. Sounds that Celeste now remembered from their visions, visions that now she knew were prophetic.
When the sounds faded, and only the noise of their thumping lifeless and hollowed out husks hit the floor were left, Copia returned to Celeste. He lifted her up off the bed, the room now filled with a mass of siblings and ghouls around them. Celeste tried to stand struggling with her balance while in immense pain. She realized she was now dressed in the ominous red dress. The scent of blood surrounding her as the gown seemed to be seeping with it. Celeste grabbed hold of one of the daggers, shaking and scared as she stared down at it.
This was the beginning of the end of the world and in that moment Celeste was conflicted, her mind enveloped in anguish. Wondering if she should have been killed by the holy men. If her desire and love for Copia, and the child she carried, was worth the world. Then he spoke to her.
“Celeste. Amore, we should leave this room. I will not have you give birth to our son in this place if I can help it.” Copia declared, trying to get her to follow him out. Celeste stopped halfway out of the room, her mind overwhelmed and spinning. Copia could see the conflict rising inside her and knew it was the time for the full truth to be revealed.
“I don’t know if I can.” Celeste said, blank faced and lost in thought. Copia pulled her close and placed his hand on her belly. Feeling it tighten beneath his palm as another contraction spread inside her. He smiled, pulling up her chin to face him.
“You will, but before we have this child amore, there is something you need to know.” he told her. Celeste’s face, filled with confusion as a pair of ghouls brought her mother to stand before them.
“Mom…”
“Cece…I need to tell you something.” Lucy began, Celeste’s heart pounding inside her chest once more, teeth gritting with yet another contraction upon her. Too much was happening at once and she was now struggling to even stay conscious.
“Go on Lucy. Tell your daughter the truth.” Copia pushed, watching with glee at the interaction. His sinister smile, making Lucy tremble. Celeste was visibly shaking, waiting for what horrors her mother would reveal to her.
“When I was young, I made a choice. There was a man I was seeing while my family was on vacation. The man who would become your father.”
“I know this story mother—” Celeste snapped, doubling over in pain.
“No Celeste you don’t. That man was part of the Satanic church, he and I made a pact to have you. To conceive you in service of Lucifer. To give our souls and you to him. In exchange we were to have good health and riches beyond measure.. Promised a high position in the aftermath of Armageddon...”
“Oh my g–” Celeste began, as Lucy continued on.
“You were always destined to be here. Where you are right now. Your child is the darkness that will descend upon the world and bring about the end. Oh Cece, I’m so sorry…I was young and I made so many mistakes and I just can’t live with them anymore…” Her mother continued as if absolving herself of sins.
“Lucy.” Copia growled, knowing that her mother was still holding back. Celeste looked between them both. Whatever she was about to say, it seemed Copia had already been told.
“I don’t want to be in Hell. I don’t want eternal damnation Cece. I wanted to be back in God’s light and in order to do that, I had to.”
“No…” Celeste whimpered, as if she already knew what her mother was going to say next.
“I led the men here to find you. They promised I would be forgiven for my part in your creation and that I would be welcomed back into Heaven for my sacrifice. A sacrifice of your life and the child’s…in exchange for my absolution.”
Celeste saw RED. Her blood boiled and popped inside her veins. Rage overtaking her as Copia watched on. She lifted up the dagger still held in her hand and in one swoop stabbed deep into her mother’s chest. Yanking back as the blood gushed out from the wound and spattered all over her face.
“Cece…” Lucy said, her sounds barely discernible as she fell to the floor. Suddenly the whole room began to tear away from them. The Abbey walls, seeming to rip apart and fly up into the air. The sky swirling with red and debris all around them for farther than their eyes could see. The rain falling from clouds, now turned to blood in the storm.
Celeste stood above Lucy on the platform of the floor, all that was left of the room as the world collapsed around them. Adrenaline coursing through her veins and her pain at its peak when she spoke. “Welcome to the apocalypse that you helped to usher in mother. Your soul be damned.” Celeste laughed, crying as she did. Drained, she collapsed beside her mother on the floor, the baby was coming—and now.
Celeste began to scream, the labor pains coming without end. Copia dropped before her to help deliver their child. The world around them, crying as the noise of Gabriel’s trumpet sounded above them. The seas began to boil and the sky ripped open to reveal the demons and angels warring above them.
“This is it Celeste, push and he will be here. You can do this.” Copia praised. The red dress, bathing her in blood as it flowed from its threads. Her mother’s blood still glittering her face as she rose up to bear down against the force of her contraction. Before she knew it, the sounds of cries—her child’s cries entered into the world.
“Is he alright?” she asked, watching Copia swaddle the baby with the bed sheet. He smiled down at her and placed the warm baby into her arms. It appeared as any infant would, small and soft. Innocent looking and sweet, but the child was evil itself. Celeste looked over to Copia as the sounds of screaming and cries from humanity spread out throughout the land noises, still deeply in love.
The Earth began to crack around them, revealing Hell beneath. Demons and Ghouls, crawling up from the bowels of the world to devour mankind. Bodies of angels falling from the sky like rain. The End had come. Celeste and Copia lost in each other’s eyes, Celeste's left eye now shining a bright white just as his. She had accepted her fate—Queen of Hell, mother of Evil. The harbinger of the end.
“He’s perfect.” Copia assured her, lips then locked together as their infant cooed in their arms. The stars, beginning to fall from the sky.

sweetly untouched
corruption kink be hard. abuse of power and pet names as well as a very intricate sense of purity being used. this is 18+ and a part 1 of 2. if you guys like it enough i might post the second part hehe
copia x fem reader
Summer in the ministry was always exciting. Not only because time could be spent a the gardens and outside in the squares and forests alongside the possessions in the south of Italy, but also because it meant new siblings would join.
The new faces were charming, that feeling of something new, blooming, and reenergized, like the flowers in the gardens spread along the fortress that was a home for many souls who worshiped the Drak Lord.
Copia wasn't so fond of the fuzz of the new faces, mainly because it meant he had to talk to more people in the halls - giving directions and instructing new sheep inside the towering stone walls he called home for so long.
He would hide away in corners, avoiding visual contact at any cost with anyone besides the siblings of sin he already knew from past summers.
As the summer pushed to its final weeks, he had done an incredible job of avoiding the white-clothed siblings, the pure souls he so hard tried to stay away from - for his and their own good.
But counting victory before time was one of his most significant flaws that could get the cardinal in trouble.
As he was walking down the hall, he bumped into someone on his way to dark mass. Hefty, shiny eyes looked up at him in a short instant. The hands were at her heart and the face pure. The hair was perfectly tucked inside the habit and her cheeks flustered while looking up at the older man in front of her. Her lips were the ideal shade of pink, the one he would love to run his fingers through and feel how soft they were before leaning for a kiss.
He looks down frowning, and she ran away with a muffled "sorry" scaping her perfect lips, while the cardinal stared as the novice walked down the hall in the opposite direction. He felt something inside of him.
He quite forgot about the girl he accidentally ran into a few days ago, until before the mass he finally saw her again.
With a gentle smile, sweet pinky cheeks, and delicate hands, the novice was helping a sister of sin arrange a few flowers for the black mass upon them later that night.
She kept her eyes low while Copia talked with the sister of sin who was flirting with the older man. In any other circumstance, he would've engaged and probably taken a few minutes before his sermon to have a private conversation with her.
But his eyes were locked on the innocent figure by her side, her hands anxiously shuffling and playing with her white dress. Which perfectly translated to the cardinal about her current oath status: pure and untouched. So ready to be ruined by the hands of a man that could only bring her so much pleasure she might never be able to leave his side again. Begging for more, as well as for him to give her a break. He wouldn't, he would be too desperate to run his hands through the smoothness of her skin. Her hair... He would give anything to know how her hair smelled like, how her hands would fit his - to see how they would fit around his cock.
His body started to tremble.
He didn't listen to a single word the sister of sin said, only occasionally nodding and when she mentioned excusing herself because she still needs to finish arranging the flowers, the novice smiled at him shyly and he felt the urge to simply grab her by the wrists and pin her against the closest wall.
He brushed those thoughts away, as she noticed he was staring and blushed, turning away and walking by the sister's side.
During the mass, he made sure to change his entire sermon. He was going to talk about freedom, but Copia decided it was best to test the waters.
While noticing the novice sitting by the celibate siblings, he felt his body get hot, it was hard to breathe.
"We should devote our lascivious hunger to our Lord, and never resist the urgency of our body wishes," he spoke sweetly, his voice smooth like velvet, as well as his moves as he walks around the altar. The moon was shining through the windows, and his white eye was equally radiating such glimmer that could light up the entire chapel if the candles were to be blown by the warm breeze of midnight.
"Think of your body as a temple, as a place you perform your prayer to Satan, and, oh, he wants you to gladden yourself in the jars of honey that only carnal pleasure could furnish. To touch the untouched skin, to send the shivers his infernal breath would travel down your spine - the lips that burn like his fire on the surface of a cotton skin. Silky, sensitive, delicate, and pristine. To dedicate your sounds and never feel shame by the body our Lord so benevolently gave you the sovereignty to discover. Unravel the splendors of your pleasure, and make sure to touch your equals with such passion that could only be felt by the touch of our Infernal Savior. Nibble and consume the precious feast of flesh he gave you, savor the salt and sweetness of the skin that hides the biggest part of you: your soul that cries for pleasure and to be touched with the fire of a love that could only be taught by the one that treasured so much, and believed love had no shape. We are all flesh and blood, begging for the touch of a sacrilegious hand to break our innocence each time we let ourselves be free from the judgment that we should not give in. Give in the touch, the pleasure, the bliss. Let yourself be touched and think, trust, and obey. Listen and agree that both or more parts want the same thing. It's all about the small extent we have before we join our lord in the infernal and forever burning of the world to live in pure elation. Let yourself be unrestricted, and delight will fill you inside like the water you wish for your thirst."
During the entire sermon, he kept looking at her, at the way her hands were clasping her dress, or how pink her cheeks were when he measured her. He wanted to make her the most profane of the bodies to walk inside those walls.
Once the mass was over, his sermon had an effect on his soul, and the cardinal didn't even leave the chapel after everyone was out before running to the small dark room he prepares himself to give in to his desires.
Copia unbuckled his dark leather belt and unzipped his pants enough to pull out his hard and throbbing cock, already leaking with pre cum.
He sat in the wooden chair and slowly ran his fingers through his hard length. He was so hard, it was hurting and just the ghost of his touch was already edging him before he pushed a finger along the tip of his cock, letting out a grunt.
"Fuck," he whispered, closing his eyes.
He slowly started to run his hand along his cock, spreading his leaking cum along it, making it sloppy as he pushed two fingers inside his mouth, sucking hard on the leather gloves he so carefully covers his hands.
What was slow, started to build up fast, and he started to moan, echoing throughout the chapel as he left the small room's door open. He rocked his hips up, moaning loudly as he jerked himself off so fast, the leather was burning his skin.
He made sure to clench his fists tight around his cock, thinking of how tight her pussy must be around him. How he would stretch her with his cock while mercilessly fucking her against the altar, how he would cum deep in her and make her take every inch of his cock inside her still untouched cunt.
The fingers inside his hand was pretending to be her skin, his breasts and nipples and how he would suck on them.
As he came with a loud cry out, his body burning as his face was red and a few drops of sweat running from his scalp to his face, he opened his eyes to a white-clothed figure standing by the door.
As his vision focused, he recognized the novice standing like a statue by the door. Her face was red as she was playing with her habit.
Copia smiled to himself as he knew she couldn't see much but she heard all of his pleasure time. The pleasure time he had thinking about her. The Cardinal sat up and quickened to pull his pants back up. He invited her in with a velvet tone.
She walked in slowly, her legs not moving much.
"Tell me, sorella, what bring you here after mass and so late at night?" he asks as she approaches him. He taps the table in front of him for her to sit, and as she does, he can swear he smells under her dress, and it drives him wild.
"I was thinking about your sermon, Cardinal," this is the first time he hears her voice and he feels like he needs to make her scream until she can't talk anymore. He nods as if to let her know she can keep talking. "And I want to give in my desires."
"That's great, my dear. And how do you wish to do that?"
"I want you to teach me... How to do it," she says it almost like a whisper, a small tone of begging that makes his cock hard again within seconds. “How to… How to give in my body for the Lord.”
Without many further rounds, the Cradinal stands up and places himself in front of her. "Spread your legs for your Cradinal, sweetie," he softly demands, his gloved hand on her thigh, and he feels her shiver. "Shh, don't you worry. What do you want me to teach you?" He asks, pressing himself between her legs.
"How to feel pleasure, to be touched and to touch," she almost quotes his sermon word for word.
The Cardinal nods. "I see... Then we have a lot of learning ahead of us."

MISSY AND I WERE LITERALLY JUST SAYING THAT THE LINES IN THE FIRST VERSE:
FEEL REALLY CORRUPTION ARC ESQUE.
like???? what if the sweet papa we see in the chapters is just a false mask?????? And that his looks and feelings we see in those chapters are just remnants of his past? And now we'll see the real Papa.... anti-christ Papa, or evil Copia? IDK I AM THINKING SO MANY THOUGHTS BIRB IT'S MAKING ME INSANE.
so far the theories I see is that it's about him dying but you convince me another theory about it so I will be delusional about this but what if the part of "I know, and you know that I ain't got that long to last" could mean his past self/the Copia we always see is slipping off hence the next line "my looks and my feelings are just the remains of my past"
So yes the lyrics itself feels like corruption-ish way. Maybe in a way, his antichrist-side is showing
Also lemme just add this randomly cause my brain is egging about it- this could be loosely tied to Spillways too in a way cause the line "You keep a casket buried deep within. You try to mask it, but fall back in sin"
Could possibly talk about the mask he wears that is depicted in Phantom of the Opera lyrics but it's a very loose tie to look into
But I am all here for antichrist Copia if anything
#corruption/villain arc for copia#he deserves it as a treat#you ask me sumthin' and i answer a lil sumthin sumthin

Copia: you came back wrong... I'm in love with you
Terzo: you're in love with pain. Admit it. You like me because you enjoy getting beat down. So really, who's screwed up?

Confessional - Cardinal Copia x F!Reader [Part 2]
Summary: Cardinal Copia is driven out of his mind when you disappear from the Ministry. He cannot find you anywhere, hasn't seen or heard a peep of you, and it's beginning to take its toll. But he's not the only one who's noticed your absence…
Rating: Explicit, 18+
Word Count: 4.5k
Warnings: Pathetic Copia, panty-sniffing kink (except it’s not panties...), masturbation (male), endless pining, a very scheming Terzo
A/N: I cannot believe the response I got to Part 1 of this fic... it was my first ever Ghost fic, and yet y'all blew it up! Thank you SO MUCH. 🥹 You wanted a part 2, so here's your part 2. And soon, part 3...
PART 1 | PART 2 | PART 3
ALSO AVAILABLE ON AO3
How much torture can one man endure before he breaks? How long does it take for a man to go insane?
The Cardinal supposed it was six days worth. Six days of torture, and he was dangerously dangling over the edge of sanity... And if he was being honest with himself, the majority of it was self-inflicted.
He didn’t mean to torture himself. He never meant to debase himself so, and somehow managed a full six days before he gave in the first time. And if you hadn’t disappeared off the face of the earth, perhaps the guilt that had made a permanent home in the pit of his stomach would have been enough to stop him – but just those first six days of not seeing nor hearing anything of you around the ministry were enough to drive him utterly demented.
But the longer he went without seeing your pretty face in the halls, or hearing your sweet voice when you sang at Mass with your siblings, or being in any kind of proximity to you, the more confident he became that he would never be found out. You would never catch him in his filthy little secret...
The first time had been a mistake – or so he told himself. Something he did in the heat of the moment, one he couldn’t control and felt utterly miserable over after.
Those six days he had been on high alert, hoping to see you in the halls or in his seminars but nothing. He wanted so badly to apologise to you, his shame of what he felt was him corrupting your sweet nature in that damned booth but he’d not been given the chance. You’d simply evaporated...
And so, after he had done a lap of the ministry in search of you one last time on the evening of the sixth day, he sulked back to his quarters trying with all his strength not to pull his greying hairs from his temples in frustration. He slammed the door behind him, frisbeeing his biretta from his head and to some distant corner of the room before he threw himself down on his bed with a huff.
After a few deep breaths to calm his irritation, he stood and shook the coat of his cassock off, tossing that somewhere else in the room frankly, he could care less where it landed, as well as the shoes he kicked off. He sat back down against the headboard of his bed, head laying back against the wall as he stared at the ceiling, closing his eyes for a moment of peace.
But since confessional, he hadn’t been granted a moment of peace at all. No, his mind was occupied.
Whether it was the guilt, the shame, the unprofessionalism... or on better days, the images you had planted in his mind of your sinful dream... even the sounds of your mewls and whines from beside him and the smacks to the wood as you’d met your end, kicking out involuntarily as you’d climaxed... His mind was always occupied.
That evening had been no exception, his mind wandering over those pretty little noises you had made, the way you’d said his name almost breathlessly, the sounds of your fingers sliding through your slick as you practically cried for him.
The Cardinal found himself once again struggling to control himself – he'd managed to for the last six days but by this point he was just exhausted by it all. How could he hold off anymore? How could he sit here and torture himself with vivid memories of you fucking yourself beside him without allowing himself to indulge in the privacy of his own quarters?
His thick cock had already swelled in the confines of his pants, as it had many times since your encounter but this was the first time he would allow himself the depravity of actually touching himself to the thoughts of you. It had felt too filthy, too impolite to you to do such a thing and yet after six fucking days of no interaction at all, he was too frustrated to deny himself a moment longer.
His gloved hands slid to his belt, skilfully unbuckling with one hand as the other palms himself through the material. Before long, he had freed himself, and the black leather of his glove was swallowing his cock over and over as his hand stroked languidly, a low hum emanating from deep within his chest.
How he wished it was your far softer and more delicate hand, perhaps your mouth if he was lucky enough. But this was the best he could do, pathetically stroking himself behind closed doors to the mere memory of you. What he’d give to worship you, to feel you and to taste you, to smell you again.
His eyes shot open, his mind cruelly reminding him of the unwitting gift you had left behind... He looked guiltily to the side of his bed, to his bedside cabinet where if he was not mistaken, the drawer knob was glowing at him. But hey, that could just be his descent into madness...
And it was that madness that had made him do the unthinkable, right from the beginning. He had kept that glove of yours – the glove you had left in such haste, the glove you had baptised with your juices. It sat in his bedside cabinet, under a stack of old Beano comic books he hid from plain sight in case a member of the clergy came to his chambers and judged him for the one thing he kept with him from his childhood.
He’d be lying if he said that it had sat there and been forgotten about; it certainly hadn’t. But tonight was the first time he had considered retrieving it at all... He couldn’t, could he? He certainly shouldn’t... But his mind had been swimming with could haves, should haves and would haves for six fucking days and frankly, he was done with it.
To hell with it.
He reached over to the drawer and yanked it open, shoving the old Beano comics to one side and rifling until he found that discarded piece of lace he’d stolen. He rolled it in his hand for a moment, the other resuming the slow strokes to his cock. He shut his eyes again, head lolling back as he stroked, over and over, moans rolling from his half-painted lips between gentle curses and whispers of your name.
As if the Cardinal couldn’t become anymore unhinged in his blissful state, he brought your glove to his face, catching the lasting aroma, a delicate bouquet of sin. He growled to himself like an animal, fist pumping himself to the point of no return, his cock angry and red, profusely leaking over his own gloved hand. His abdomen tightened, a garbled groan muffled by his fist pushing the lace against his face, cock jumping in his hand.
It was quite pathetic really, how quickly Copia came as soon as he pulled that glove from its’ hiding spot. He’d made a mess over his shirt, whimpering into the glove as spurts of his seed landed as far up as his chest. And yet, he continued to fuck his fist into overstimulation, cock pitifully attempting another orgasm as more cum simply dribbled over his glove this time around. Even then, he only stopped himself because the stimulation was becoming painful... Although he was sure he probably deserved that.
As he sat limp on his bed, the haze of his release fading quickly as realisation of what he’d just done hit him. With tired limbs, he balled the glove back up and threw it back into the open drawer beside him, smacking the drawer shut in anger at himself. How could he be so debauched? So disrespectful?
So perverted.
It was bad enough he was thinking of you. It was bad enough that he was masturbating over the thought of you. But that... he wasn’t sure he could forgive himself for acting this way. It didn’t matter how he felt about you, didn’t matter that he was transfixed on you or infatuated with you. This should never have happened...
And yet, there was a next time. And another time after that.
In fact, as the days passed and turned into weeks – still without so much as a glimpse or a whisper of you around the ministry – he found himself going back to that drawer more and more. The last time was never the last time, no matter how much he promised to stop, to behave himself.
There was always a next time...
You’ve been hiding for almost four weeks. How you were getting away with it, you weren’t sure... Perhaps you had memorised your Cardinal’s movements a little too well in the time your fantasies had begun to take hold, and so now you were able to avoid every possible encounter that may have been.
After all, how on earth could you face him? You were absolutely mortified at yourself and the thought of being anywhere near the Cardinal made your skin crawl... Not because you despised him, or held any animosity towards him at all – how could you, possibly? - but because you felt like a fool; an idiot who got too caught up in the moment, confessed something that overstepped every conceivable boundary a person can set, and had managed to make the poor Cardinal stoop to your pathetic level.
You had utterly humiliated yourself.
In your efforts to avoid Cardinal Copia, you had in turn ended up avoiding most of your duties as a Sister of Sin. No seminars, no services... You had skipped on your work duty more often than not for fear of bumping into him in the hallways, faking some terrible stomach flu for longer than could be believed.
You had even skipped out on Black Mass – a big no-no in the Ministry. Unless you were on the reaper’s death bed, you were to be at Black Mass.
As the service was held, Papa Emeritus III took to his pulpit and noticed immediately that one of his siblings was missing. How disappointed he had been to come to realise it was you who hadn’t showed. You were one of his favourites, so sweet and virtuous. Whilst he did enjoy corrupting his Sisters of Sin, somehow he always felt you had been off limits... Still, a harmless flirt to keep you on your toes had never hurt. His soft spot for you was nothing if not platonic and playful.
The Cardinal had noticed your absence at Black Mass also, and frankly it concerned him. Had he driven you out? Had you left the Ministry altogether? He’d not seen you for three fucking weeks, and he couldn’t help but feel a panic rise in his chest, that ever-nagging guilt growing into a nauseating feeling of utter self-hatred. He’d never forgive himself if you had left...
After Mass had ended, Terzo grabbed the Cardinal for a quiet chat in his office. He knew damn well that you never missed a Latin seminar, that Copia likely saw you more often than most.
“Cardinale, forgive the intrusion on your plans for the day. I’m sure you have places to be,” he began as he sat behind his desk. Copia stood in front of him, wringing his hands nervously. Part of him wondered if he were to be chastised for his behaviours, as if somehow Terzo had known... Had you told him what had happened at confessional? Did you tell him you were leaving... because of him?
“Non è un problema, fratello. (It’s no problem, brother.) My only plan was to prepare for the week’s seminars.” His voice wavered slightly, and yet Terzo never noticed as it wasn’t unusual. Copia tended to be a little nervous around Terzo. He looked up to him so much, always had... But to Terzo, Copia was the annoying little kid he would make eat the bugs as a ‘joke’ while he and his older brothers looked on and laughed. And all Copia had ever wanted was to be just like Terzo.
“I merely wondered if you had seen Sister _____ in your seminars lately? I noticed she wasn’t at Black Mass and... well, that’s not like her, is it?” Terzo asked, leaning on the desk on his elbows, waiting for an answer.
The Cardinal could feel a drop of sweat forming on his brow. This felt like a trick question, like Terzo was expecting something of him.
“Uhhh, I... I haven’t. It’s not like her, hai ragione (you’re right) .”
“Hmm,” he hummed, leaning back in his chair. “I wonder what the matter is? I’ll be sure to look out for her, make sure our piccolo topo (little mouse) is alright. Please let me know if you see her in the next few day, sì?”
Copia let out a quiet breath of relief, the conversation seeming to end without suspicion. “Sì, fratello. I will update you. Would you...” he stopped himself, wondering if this might be overstepping, implicating himself somehow, but deciding to continue, “would you mind letting me know too? If you see her, I mean...”
Terzo looked up at Copia with eyes narrowed and a smirk playing on his painted face.
“Why would you like to hear, Cardinal? Hai una cotta, eh? (You have a crush?)” he teased. Copia’s eyes widened, panic clear on his face. "N-no! No, I just... This is unlike her,” he panicked.
“I wouldn’t judge, Cardinal. She is a pretty young thing...” he mused, winding Copia up further just as he had since childhood.
“No, fratello... I mean, well, sì, she is but... I don’t...” Copia stumbled, making himself to be more obvious.
“He doth protest too much,” Terzo laughed, “I will tell you if I see our pretty little Sorella around. You can go back to planning your seminars, Cardinal.” Terzo waved his subordinate out of his office and gladly, Copia took the chance to leave with his head hanging low.
Outside the halls had quietened after the end of Mass. Copia leaned against the wall, taking a deep breath and wiping the sweat from under his biretta on his sleeve. He felt so burdened, so absolutely horrified at the thought that now even Terzo had noticed your absence in the ministry. God, he hated that he called you pretty... He hated that Terzo called you ‘piccolo topo’. His reputation proceeded him, and Copia would be damned if he got to corrupt you...
In the days after Black Mass, Copia tried desperately to find you around the Ministry – with no success. He would end up defeatedly walking back to his chambers late each night, having hoped that maybe he would find you in the kitchens or the library. If you had been trying to avoid him, perhaps you would be eating later, studying in the middle of the night... But nothing.
But at least he could go back to his room, to his bed, to your glove.
The knock at your dorm door remained ignored by you, forcing Sister Katia, your bunkie, to get the door with a roll of her eyes. She’s just about had enough of your shit, having to pull twice her weight lately to accommodate whatever this episode was. The only reason she hadn’t lost her cool at you was because she knew this wasn’t like you, and whatever was causing this – it had to be bad.
“______, it’s for you. A ghoul,” she sounds exasperated... Perhaps you should make the effort to at least see what the Ghoul wanted, praying to Sathanas that it had not been Copia who sent him your way.
You pulled yourself from your bunk, your depression-outfit of three-day old sweats and a faded old graphic t-shirt making even the Ghoul at the door look at you in vague disgust. He said nothing to you though, his eyes following an arm he stretched out, holding a note with a very telling red wax seal over the fold – a ‘III’ in roman numerals that screamed Terzo...
“Oh, shit,” Katia was not one for subtlety, clearly seeing the same wax stamp and realising that it was, in fact, a summons to visit Papa in his office the next morning. Dread filled you, the colour draining from your features... Papa only summoned Sisters of Sin for two things, and in your current predicament, both options felt like an option you would rather avoid.
He was either about to make a move on you, to have his way with you if you were to let him, or he was to chastise you and dish out punishment as he saw fit for your little disappearing act.
“Thank you, Ghoul. I uh, apologise... for my state,” you smiled weakly. He bowed his head slightly with a flutter of his eyelashes, as if to say ‘no problem, Sister’ - a ghoul of few words, this one... - and he turned to leave, walking down the hallways as Katia closed the door.
“Well, open it... You know Papa doesn’t mince his words. Are you in trouble, or about to get laid?” Katia smirked as she tried poorly to lighten the mood. You rolled your eyes and popped the wax off the paper, unfolding to read your summons.
“Sorella _______,
It has come to my attention that you have been missing from the ministry for quite some time now, your duties going abandoned.
Should this note find you well, I expect you in my office at 8am sharp with a very good explanation as to why.
I look forward to your company,
Papa Emeritus III”
Had you not thought of yourself as such a tiny little insignificant cog in the Ministry, maybe Terzo’s note wouldn’t have come as such a surprise to you – but knowing your Papa had noticed your absence and was, shall we say, less than impressed unnerved you.
“Suppose you’ll have to shower now,” Katia bumped your shoulder with hers. “Oh and wear that short habit with the red stitching you’ve got! You’ll need to butter him up a bit, by the sounds of it...” she winked, climbing into her bunk and picking up her discarded magazine.
Perhaps she was right... If nothing else, perhaps it may distract him just a little, to give you enough time to weasel your way into an excuse for your absence. Terzo could easily be swayed if you indulge him just a little, without having to compromise your own integrity.
Your hands shook as you lifted a fist to lightly knock on the large double doors of Papa Emeritus III’s office, fear setting in that you were about to have to fight for your place at the Ministry. Terzo was known to be ever so slightly more diplomatic than his brother’s, but a blatant disregard for duties always riled him up the wrong way – and in your depressed and embarrassed stupor, that was exactly what you had done for four weeks.
“Entra,” you heard from within, the deep timbre of his thick Italian accent sending a shiver down your spine.
You did as asked, barely opening to door to slink in as if hiding – like any sudden movement would alert him and have him pounce. You waited at the door, practically backed up against the wood and waited for instruction. He was furiously typing at his typewriter, the keys echoing around the stone walls until a loud ping sounded, and he pushed down the carriage release that had it loudly creaking back to its place. He looked up at you then, papal paint freshly adorned over his masculine features.
When he saw the fear on your face, the shame you already harboured, his features relaxed slightly – not that it gave you any relief to your anxiety.
“Sorella ______, how I’ve missed that pretty face in the halls, eh?” he smiled at you, monochrome gaze sweeter than you had expected. Sister Katia’s words circled your mind...
“You know Papa doesn’t mince his words. Are you in trouble, or about to get laid?”
While you prayed for neither, at least one was inevitable.
“Come, stand here for me, hm? Let me see you,” he beckoned you to stand before his desk, leaning on the wooden frame by his elbows.
Cautiously, you stepped forward, standing on the ornate rug between the two chairs he had facing him. He hadn’t invited you to sit, and you knew better than to do something you had not been asked of right now. “There, bellissima (beautiful)!” he leaned forward, outstretching a hand to pinch at the hem of your skirt, shorter than usual. He ran the material between his fingers, tracing along the red stitching, the hair of his knuckles tickling your upper thighs. It was only now you realised he wasn’t wearing his usual white gloves. You cursed Katia for this idea, hoping not to give the wrong impression. “I like this one, Sorella. The red stitching is....” he took a deep breath in, “quite something.”
“Th-thank you, Papa...” you stuttered. Terzo looked you in the eye, and sat back in his chair again.
“Do you know why I called for you, Sorella?” he asked, his fingertips meeting as he leaned back.
“I-I... I think I’m in some trouble, Papa,” you admitted, looking down at your feet, twiddling your fingers for something to focus on. “Sì, I’m afraid so. You see, I noticed that you were not at Black Mass on Sunday. It worried me, and so I spent a few days attempting to run into you, to perhaps see you in a seminar or the library but... poof, nowhere in sight,” he made a gesture with his hand, like a puff of smoke had left his palm.
You remained silent, biting your lip.
“Even Cardinale Copia has not seen you, so he tells me - his top student!” Your cheeks reddened at the mere mention of his name. “He seemed quite dismayed, actually...”
You swallowed nothing, gulping down the guilt that threatened to rise. You had caused that, upset your precious Cardinal with your desperate lewd actions. Probably made him reconsider what little authority he had in the Ministry, what with the overshadowing of the Papas.
“Do you wish to tell me what has forced you to become a mere figment of your poor Papas imagination, tesoro?” he pouted dramatically, a flirtatious glint in his pale white eye. His approach was somewhat light-hearted, and that unnerved you more than if he had been yelling at you. Was he not angry at you?
“I... I’m sorry, Papa. I haven’t quite been... feeling myself,” you all but whispered, head hung low in shame.
“Oh, tesoro...” he stood from his chair and rounded the desk quickly, a look of pity and worry etching deeper lines into his paint than usual, “are you sick?”
He stood close to you – so close you could feel his warm breath grazing over your facial features – and placed the back of his bare hand to your forehead, testing your temperature. You stilled, not a single breath falling from past your lips as you couldn’t help but watch him closely. You could understand why many a sister before you had fallen for his wiles before you, but whilst he made you nervous, you simply could not fathom the idea of intimacy with Papa Terzo. Not when Cardinal Copia still occupied your mind...
“Hmm, you’re warm enough, sorella. Not a thing wrong with you physically, eh?” he winked and curled his finger under your chin, stepping back and sitting against the edge of his desk.
“N-no, I’m quite alright physically.”
“Then what is troubling you, mia cara?”
Your palms felt clammy, the weight of the truth on your shoulders almost unbearable. There was no way you would ever tell Papa the truth, you’d burst into flames on the spot out of sheer humiliation. No, you were to keep that to yourself.
But words failed you, and before you knew what you were doing, your eyes had filled to the brim with tears, silently spilling down your reddened cheeks.
Terzo panicked... The only tears he was used to were that of the sister on her knees or in his bed for him, and entirely pleasure induced. But this was you, and you were neither of those things to him. He rushed to you, his hands hovering somewhere around your head as he contemplated what to do, how to help you. Hugging you felt unprofessional, awkward almost. He settled for wiping your tears from your cheeks with his thumbs as you began to sob.
“Mi dispiace (I'm sorry), Papa...” your thoughtful use of Italian swelled his heart, “I... I’ve been in a dark place. I will do better, I promise. A-and I'll take whatever punishment is fitting.”
Terzo contemplated for a moment. Sister Imperator had been quite insistent on some kind of penalty, especially for missing Black Mass. They had only a brief conversation on the matter when having their weekly meeting, in which Imperator suggested he decide on a fitting punishment himself, but that one should be given.
But you looked so broken. Your behaviour was so unlike you, so out of character and whilst he didn’t know the cause of this low period, he was no stranger to the idea of depression taking hold for no reason whatsoever. He put it down to that – merely a chemical imbalance in your pretty little head. In good conscience, he could not punish you for the hole you had been in recently. At least, not without giving you a chance to bounce back.
“Sorella, there is no punishment for you today. But I must ask you to return to your ministerial duties, sì?” You were stunned to silence – that you had not been expecting.
“I’ll have to keep an eye on you, be sure you attend seminars and Black Mass again this coming Sunday. But you must find an outlet, sì? Something good for the soul. And if I find you have not been attending...” he drew in a deep breath, puffing his chest out, “...Sister Imperator will have my balls in a jar, no?” he laughed. “Don’t make me look like un debole idiota (a soft idiot), tesoro.”
You nodded quickly, promising you would do your duties.
“Brava ragazza (good girl),” he smirked, the flirtatious look back in his eyes. “You can start with today’s Latin seminar. The Cardinale will be pleased to see you!” His eyebrows pumped upwards twice suggestively, and rounded his desk once again, sitting back down and typing on his typewriter once more.
“You are dismissed, Sister. Ready yourself for your Cardinale,” he smirked, eyes focussed on his paper.
Your blood ran cold at his words, the only heat between your thighs as you were forced to picture yourself literally readying for him... You wondered if the innuendo had been intentional or not; for your own sanity’s sake, you had to choose not.
You couldn’t bare to imagine the repercussions of Terzo, your Papa, knowing of your little... predicament.
But you left as he dismissed you, dread filling in the pit of your stomach at the notion you had to not only face the ministry again, but you had to face him.
Your Cardinale...

There is a glint in Copia’s eyes. Curiosity, temptation.

their intimacies and softness.
''Amore, what it is?'' Terzo shuffled on the bed where Copia loosens the drawstrings on his shirt.
Terzo knows that look in his eyes, the soft tender glimmer that Copia have given him back at the party. He has something in his mind .
''I dont know Terzo... seeing him like that, seeing me like that invokes back a certain feeling that I have buried a long time ago...''
Terzo holds his hand slowly, his nail slightly grazing onto the other's glove before he slowly takes it off, exposing Copia's pale hand with the stigmata scar on his palm.
''You like the idea of... having a child?''
Copia looks away a bit, blushing beneath his paint. He had spent some time with his former self, hears his stories. His fantasies that became a reality for his other self.
But he doesn't know how would Terzo feel about this, will he disregard his odd wish ?
''Si...not just having a child but...carrying it too''. He let it slipped anyway, if he is going to be ridiculed then let it be now.
Terzo's eyes dilated a bit, rather surprised. He slither beside Copia, still keeping his eyes and hand on him.
''Would you like to..tell me more? since when you've been...feeling this?'' Terzo gulps a bit, merely curious.
Copia takes a breath, patting Terzo's hand slowly, his old self seem to shine through just a bit. His Cardinal self through his papal paint.
'' I- for the longest time really. Just the thought of having one myself...and I know! that it's not possible, I know its very silly of me but...I've spent some time with me, with Cardinal me you know yes? and well... I supposed the feeling is back , no?''
Terzo listened to his rambling, which he often does when he's nervous. He nods a bit before planting a kiss on his forehead.
''You do know that a child here would change everything , would you?''
Copia nods. His eyes ever so serious just like when he said yes to Terzo's proposal to him.
''si''
Terzo holds both of Copia's hands before slowly kissing it, keeping his sharp pupils on his beloved.
''Then let us try''.
Copia nods before Terzo slowly leans in to kiss him. He keeps his hands tenderly on the other while slowly slithering low . copia took off his shirt while Terzo slips his forked tongue into his, tasting him .
He tasted differently that night than any other night. No more anger nor frustration only calm and tenderness in Copia’s every touch. The horned papa’s hand makes his way into the other’s pants, slipping in and caressing the other’s clit, ever so hard and wet already.
“You’re so wet already, caro” Terzo purred into him, slowly kissing his neck. He tried to not use his claws on his tender parts this time, but to slowly massages between his folds, feeling the other’s slick and wet passion.
Copia moans, holding onto him while Terzo shifted his position , placing himself between the others legs as his free hand unzips himself , letting his member free. It twitches eagerly between Copia, ever so ready.
“Are you ready to be filled? to be stuffed full with my seed caro?”
Copia nods eagerly, murmuring please.
Easily, Terzo slips himself right in, right and deep inside the other as he purrs beside his ear.
“I’ll make sure you we have that child , mi Amore “
Copia’s grip tightens as he wraps his legs around Terzo’s waist. The horned Papa continues to pump vigorously, gyrating his hips to get as deep as he can. Moaning and panting filled the chamber, even the hallway as Copia calls out his lover’s name over and over.
It was music to Terzo’s ears, his claw a digs into the sheets this time, trying not to hurt Copia. No more blood, scars or bites this time . Just our love and adoration coming from the new Papa’s eyes, from Copia’s eyes.
“Terzo, I-!” Copia jerks for a moment before his high came first, his thighs shuddering as Terzo continues to pump more and more until his throbbing length fills the other up. He stays , mostly for Copia. He waits to catch his own breath as well before slowly caressing Copia’s cheek, his high still lingering in the air.
Copia didn’t let go of him, he could feel Terzo’s warmth inside of him as he slowly leans up to kiss him, The former Papa slumps beside him, holding him close and not letting go of the kiss until a moment after.
“No matter how many times it takes…this is the least I could do after what you did to me…”
His claw slowly grazing Copia’s cheek, lifting some face paint away.
“Terzo I-I love you, I wouldn’t be here without you Amore” slowly , still panting . The new Papa finally lets his legs go , pressing his thighs closer in an attempt to avoid any spillage from him.
“You brought me back to life, now I shall give you a life “ he smiles tenderly, like how he used to. Like how before the carnage that befalls the land, like how he used to when Copia told him ‘I love you’.
Like how it all makes sense, finally.
—————
It was the next day , Dewdrop stoic as ever is listening intently to Copia.
But as Copia is briefing him over the next plan he couldn’t help but notice how different Papa is…
There’s something about Copia, he looks perky, the corner of his lips etching more into a smile and his eyes glimmering like a child.
He looks…radiant.
His focus abrupted as Copia slowly pats his shoulder , which made his tail twitches for a moment.
“Come join the dinner tonight si? “
Dewdrop nods, he’s always present during dinner, guarding the door.
“And I mean a seat on the table, caro”
Oh? Oh that made the ghoul tilts his head but he nods with a soft yes anyway. As Copia throws him a soft smile leaving , his tail slowly wags .
————-
Dew’s footsteps has brought him to the dining hall, a familiar spot for him but this time instead of standing guard the ghoul slowly turns the door knob.
He peeks his head in and it is surprisingly bright. The chandelier is on this time instead of just the heat from the fire place, the whole dining hall lit up as if it was Christmas.
Dew steps in carefully, he’s not used to this, his radar tingling as if he is supposed to be wary of something but instead what greets him are his peers, his pack members taking their own spot on the table, chatting idly. Copia and Terzo in their spot at the end of the table, he can see them holding hands tenderly.
“Ah Dew! Please, take your seat. Dinner is about to start.” Copia gestures to him happily.
And it’s the genuine smile that seems to surprise Dewdrop. He slowly takes his spot beside Rain, who had taken off his helmet and let his blue locks drape free on his shoulder.
Odd…is that allowed? Usually, it’s quite the opposite.
He throws Rain a confused look to which the water ghoul replied with a small smile, gesturing to the rest of the table.
Dew turns his head , looking around. They have all taken off their helmets and are chatting. Swiss with his loud laughter and Aether's gold teeth shining through when he chats, he forgot how long has it been since he seen his sideburns even. The ghoulettes with their giggles and teasing one another beside Mountain, who's nodding to them. Dew peeks underneath the table and! Mountain has even took off his shoes!
how odd... He sits straight on the chair, still wary before he looks at Copia.
The fourth Papa smiles at him.
''Go on Dew, you can take it off. It's alright.''
Terzo nods beside him , seemingly content.
Everyone on the table turns their attention to the fire ghoul. He hesitates for a moment before slowly, carefully taking off his helmet. his broken horn grazes the side of the metal clink for a moment before he sets it on the dinner table. His fluffy short red hair ruffles for a moment before he made eye contact with everyone. The light still stings his eyes, it's never been so bright in here, from the chandeliers and...everyone.
''There's that handsome face'' Rain smiles a bit, holding his hand tenderly.
''It's alright Dew, its ok'' The Water ghoul tells him slowly, an ability that Dew still hasn't forget despite now being the opposite element.
''Now, who's hungry?'' Terzo gestures to the butler , nodding at him.
''It's a feast tonight my ghouls, fill yourself up. Make yourself comfortable si?
Tonight, we are family.''
Dewdrop's tail slowly wags again hearing that. Its a word he never thought he would hear it again.
Family.

——-
The short meeting with the other cardinals was done and Copia bids his goodbye to them in the hallway. He’s sporting his usual satin shirt but with a much looser jacket on top, recently Aether notices that Copia has been slightly more casual since the dinner.
Everything feels calmer somehow.
“Well, that went well” Copia turns and was about to make his way back into the hallway but he skids for a moment , his balance falters and he almost let gravity takes his course before the bigger ghoul besides him manage to hold him , right at the abdomen.
“Oh! Thank you that was a close call” Copia holds onto Aether’s arm, patting him.
“You gotta be careful Papa y- …” Aether paused for a moment, hand still on the Fourth Papa’s tummy. He looks at Copia for a moment, his mouth slightly agape that you can see a slither of his fangs.
“Yes?” Copia waits for the ghoul to collect himself.
“Papa you’re…you’re pregnant”.
“I-!! What?” Copia seems shocked but he didn’t retract from Aether’s hold.
After a few more caress just to be sure , Aether let’s go of his hand “yes…you’re pregnant”.
Copia’s eyes widen as a hue of pink forms on his ears. He covers his mouth a bit but Aether can see a crook, a smile forming on his face amidst the papal paint.
“Papa?”
Copia snaps for a moment, shaking his head as if to return to reality.
“Aether I…I must ask you to keep this as a secret…between us si?”
Copia clasps his hands together, his eyes serious as he looks onto the bigger ghoul.
Aether nods “of course, yea”
Hearing this Copia hugs him tightly, to which Aether was surprised. It has been so long since he was hugged by the smaller man.
His tail wags behind him.
———-
It wasn’t a good one, a rainy day on the battlefield as Copia and Terzo hurried back on their horse. They were victorious but with Copia panting, covered in blood that could either be his enemies or his, a hand on his stomach as he makes his way as fast as his horse could gallop back at the clergy. His eyebrows furrowed in while a look of anxiety on his face.
Terzo follows suit behind him, stained with blood as well, the rain didn’t wash away their filth but instead only muddied their paths home. He can practically smell the worry, for he too is anxious.
Once inside the chamber, both Terzo and Aether follow suit, closing the door behind them. The curtains were drawn close.
——-
Aether slowly retracts his hand back from Copia’s stomach.
“The baby is ok , it was quite a blow but he’s alright.”
Copia breath a sigh of relief as he puts down his shirt . Terzo shakes his head for a moment, pressing the bridge of his nose
“I told you to stay home, Copia”
“But I wanted to lead, I have to!” Copia recoils back, wiping his face for a moment.
“Si and look what happened? I can’t risk you being injured Copia. You and the baby” he kneels beside him , looking up into the eyes of the other. “I don’t want to lose any of you…”
Copia smiles a bit before caressing Terzo’s face. “ it’s alright, it’s over and we won si?”
Terzo nods and gives out a sigh of relief before turning his attention to the ghoul.
“Thank you Aether, I would have been worried sick”.
The Quintessence ghoul could only smile and nod. “Just doing my job Papa”.
“How is Lucilla doing ?” Terzo switches the topic. He hasn’t seen his ward for a long time since his Resurrection.
It was Aether’s turn to sigh a bit before slumping down onto the chair, even his tail flips onto the floor.
“We have been trying for a child but Lucilla hasn’t been…well.”
Terzo jolts before turning to him, even Copia is shocked to hear the news.
“What’s wrong?”
Aether takes off his helmet, a look of worry dawned onto him.
“She couldn’t breathe, there’s…something in her lungs”.
He remembered back the night when they return home from another patrol around the abbey, he remembered watching her struggling to breathe to the point where he had to set her down and heal her with his magic , but even a ghoul’s magic could only do so much when used almost to the extent.
He remembered her pale face and the gasping of her voice as if something is clotting inside her . The tears and panic in her eyes as he holds onto her .
It was only 5 minutes but it feels like hours.
“She told me it’s been for months…and she didn’t tell anyone about it.”
It was Terzo’s face that turned pale first amidst the papal paint he looks ghostly as ever before Copia chimed in.
“Have Omega looked into this, how could I let her be on the frontline all this time… I shouldn't have… and please Aether, stay with her. We have won, there won’t be another ride within a few more months. I’ll have another ghoul do the patrolling.” Copia’s voice stern this time, exacting his orders as he used to on the battlefield.
“Please… Aether “ Terzo gulps as he looks at Aether with worried look. His ward, his Lucilla that he had been taking care of , his loyal Sister that even brought him back to life , and now he didn’t even spare her a visit? Does tea time just like how it used to be? What kind of Papa is he?
“Don’t worry Papa, I’ll make sure she’s rested. I’ll update Omega as well.” Aether leans in , patting the former Papa on his shoulder.
At least that is settled , for now he just needs to tell his stubborn wife about this and hopefully she will listen.
—————
Aether slowly opens the door, it’s 10 am and he was just finishing his cup of coffee. He bids the taller ghoul at his door.
“Who is it? “ Chimed Lucilla on their small dining table, she’s facing the window , the sun isn’t shining it’s ray fully yet, hidden amongst the foliage of the trees.
“It’s Omega “ Aether gives way to the bigger ghoul, who’s sheepishly scurrying in with a smile.
“Morning Luci , hopefully I haven’t been disturbing you two” his tail wags lowly.
Lucilla got up from the chair , giving him a hug. “Oh no not at all! What brings you here?” She turns to Aether who had a small smile going on but an air of worry starts to float around him.
“Omega is here for the … thing I’ve told you about”. He sighs a bit, wary.
Lucilla turns from Aether and then back to Omega, with a nervous laugh.
“Oh but I’m fine! I’m fine it’s just a one-time thing…”
Omega at this point has already taken a seat at the edge of the bed, he’s calm and collected with his crescent eyes and smile. “Oh! Then it shouldn’t be a problem, right? It’ll be a quick one I promise.”
Lucilla turns to Aether, her fingers fumbling with herself as Aether nods ‘it’ll be ok’.
With a sigh, Lucilla takes a spot in front of Omega.
“Now uh tell me if it hurts or anything ok?” Omega slowly starts to cup around Lucilla’s left rib, his whole palm enveloping the smaller woman. Lucilla’s tail slowly twitches as she breathes deeply.
The two male ghouls listen, Omega focusing mostly, his left ear twitching ever so slightly before he switches to the right side, the same ear twitching. After a few minutes, he let go, smiling again. “All done!”
“See, it wasn’t anything right?” Lucilla breathes a sigh of relief, turning back to Aether who had relaxed.
“I would recommend you to not use your magic for a while. Just sit back, relax with your hubby for a while yea?” Omega gets up and slowly pats Aether’s shoulder,
A small sign asking him for a moment alone.
Lucilla nods and smiles “will do! Now that we finally have some time.”
“I’m gonna head out for more coffee, anything Luci. Cookies?” Aether peeks out of the doorframe for a moment while Omega follows suit.
“The brownies!” Lucilla chirps in. With an ok sign, Aether slowly closes the door and turns to Omega.
“How bad is it?” The aura of restlessness returns.
“There were a few clots in her lungs. It’s best if she doesn’t use her magic for the time being. Seems like it’s affecting her physically as well.”
Aether sighs his tail twitching nervously. “Can I at least try to heal her? “
Omega nods “ you could, every night try for as long as you can but I worry it might affect you as well. Just…take it easy too ok? I’ll check back again at the end of the month or if things don’t look so good”
“I’m just …let’s try not to call the Big Guy”
It was Omega’s turn to nod “I know…last resort I guess. Anyway, brownies?”
“Ah! Right. Brownies.” He bid the taller ghoul goodbye before making his way to the kitchen.
Omega continues to watch, a small sigh escaped him.
______________
Papa Terzo woke up with his head feeling slightly strained. This is new... a sort of hangover like headache that he rarely went through again after all those years. He turns to his side slowly, greeted by Copia's soft snores buried cosily onto the soft sheet. He smiled a a bit to himself. What a treat...a blessing really. He forgot the time where things were slower, calmer when Copia was still a cardinal and now that moment was brought back to him
He slowly gets off the bed, the curtain still drawn but it was clear from the sound of the birds that it must be at least half past 7 in the morning. He makes his way to the bathroom , clicking on the lights and taking a good look at himself in the mirror. He doesn't look ...as tired as he was anymore, they were some excess paint on his lips possibly from last night and his 5 o'clock shadow slowly creeping in. that ought a needs a shave...but what he noticed is that his horns are slightly smaller somehow as if it had shrunk through the night. Or perhaps throughout the week that he hadn't even realize it. He inspects the scar on his neck, less apparent now, more closely shaded to his skin that the stark white of a thread.
Papa Terzo is looking more alive than ever.
Later that day , after kissing Copia and going about their day Terzo makes his way towards Lucilla's chamber. He's determined this time to at least spent the rest of the day with her. It's been far too long that he had neglected his ward, he wonders if Lucilla doesn't feel dispirited about it. A light knock on the door as he fixes his collar, how far long has it been really? He doesn't need to wait long before a familiar face greets him at the door.
''Sorella'' he smiles sweetly at her before bowing a little. A normal courtesy he kept as a habit.
Lucilla, with a giddy smile hugs him back, her tail wagging excitedly as Terzo wraps his arms around her.
''Oh my cara, did you miss me that bad?'' he chuckles, clearly joking.
Lucilla retreats a bit, wiping her glossy eyes. ''Oh I'm sorry! I- yes i missed you very very much Papa'' she muttered a giggle before making room for him. ''Please come in! what's the occasion?"
The third Papa steps in carefully, he scans around the lively room decorated with flowers and paintings. ''I love what you two did with the place''
Lucilla was about to grab the kettle, to heat it up maybe for a fresh batch of coffee. '' oh it's just stuff i did when im bored''. she chuckles a bit, before coughing. light enough but enough to raise an alarm for Terzo .
''uhm tea?'' she tried smilling through, avoiding the impending question but seeing Terzo's face changes sets her to a small sigh.
He approaches her instead, holding the kettle as he goes to their pantry, filling it up with water before heating it up on the electric stove. Then he moves back to his ward, holding her arms tenderly and settle on the edge of the bed. ''Lucilla, is everything alright?'' .
Lucilla looks down a bit, her stray hair covering her face for a moment before Terzo slowly sweeps it away, feeling her warm skin against his own hand. She takes a few minutes before answering. ''Well, it's been happening for months but I didn't know it was that bad''.
He cups her chin slowly, that old touch that he used to have when he was alive. ''How bad is it cara?''
She looks up at him with tired but scared eyes. ''Blood clots in my lungs, probably why I couldnt breathe properly. Omega said I shouldnt be using magic for the time being. Aether and Omega tried to remain cool about it but I can ...see it in Aether's eyes, he's so scared Papa... so scared that something might...'' She didnt dare to finish up the remaining words, only leaving it to hang in the air.
Terzo wraps his arms around her, pulling her into a hug, it didn't take long for her to melt into him , wrapping her arms around and holding onto his shirt almost for dear life, inhaling in his musk that she so clearly missed all these months. She whimpers slowly, only for Terzo continue to rock her like a child.
''We'll find a way for this si? just like how you did with me. Just like how both Copia and you brought me back, nothing is impossible ok?'' He reassures her, planting a kiss in the middle of her head. He can feel her nodding slowly, afraid to let go.
The kettle whistles in the pantry, prepping his head up. ''I'll tell you what Sorella, let's spend some time here si? I can make you my favorite brew again.''
Lucilla looks up to him with starry eyes. ''just like old times?''
Terzo smiles, his snake eyes pupils gone, only to be replaced with his smokey grey eye. ''Si, just like old times.''

tw for blood, miscarriage implication
The catacomb is dark and cold, Copia can definitely feel the breeze hitting his bones, causing him to shiver slightly. He approaches slowly only wearing his house slipper this time. He couldn't remember what he was doing before, only dinner with Terzo and perhaps Aether and Lucilla as well? or was it with Dewdrop? He couldn't recall, only that he asked to retreat to his chamber early, feeling usual nausea since he is with child. Slowly he places a hand on his abdomen, now slightly more apparent from the satin shirt he's wearing as if to calm down the baby inside him.
He reaches the center of the catacomb where a statue of Baphomet lies, its eyes ruby red as if watching his move. He waits and waits. Until a familiar voice reaches out to him.
''Copia, you have not been doing your duties.''
It was Primo, the previous Papa. His figure came into view but he is luminescent, transparent, and slightly glowing in red. He doesn't appear angry, but Primo's eyebrows furrowed in.
''But Papa I have! I had conquered the neighboring states and countries. I have spread the words of our Lord for years!''. Copia replied, almost in a yelp.
''But is it enough? Ratto?'' Another Papa came into place glowing in dark green. It was Secondo with his ever-piercing gaze. He always scares Copia somehow, sending more than just a cold breeze to him.
''I- even then - we have lured even the others out and converted many! we build so many of our churches into their land…Please Papa I just…'' Copia pauses, clenching the fabric of his shirt trying to hold back his nerves.
''What if he is not happy with you then hm? what then? You revived my brother and dragged him out of Hell and we expected more of you. We expected that with you and his power that by now you would have taken over the globe!'' Secondo bellows, his voice sending tremors into the old place.
''I'm… working on it'' Copia timidly replies, he looks down to where his belly is, caressing slowly.
''There is something to you…is it not?'' Primo chimed in, getting closer to Copia to which he flinches.
Another familiar voice strikes through his nervousness. A familiar old man in a white glow, the heaving of his breath can still be heard even though he is dead.
''Perhaps you are not the antichrist just like what Seestor told us about'' He snickers, mocking Copia. ''Seestor had drilled the idea into each and every one of us but you, Copia.'' he points with his sharp nails, crooked and stained with dirt.
Copia whimpered, biting his lips. ''Perhaps I never wanted to be! Maybe I just wanted to be myself! I wanted to sing on stage again!'' Copia screams back, which is something he dare not do when the old man was alive.
His answers gained a row of disapproving grunts from the rest of the ghostly men, Nihil especially.
''Your days of singing are over Cardinal! you will do what you are told and -?'' Nihil pauses before he hovers closer to Copia, taking a good look at him before looking down at his stomach, to where his hand is, and then turning back up to Copia.
With a disapproving look.
''Cardinal, you are with child?"
Copia gulps, nodding slowly before Secondo squawks in.
''You?!! How is that possible?'' He hovers closer to Copia as well, looking straight into his eyes only for Copia to look away.
He is panicking, cold sweat starts to form on his papal paint.
''It means that all this time, Copia here has been lying to us ever since he set foot into this church.'' A slow murmur from Primo, he can hear the disappointing sigh from the eldest one.
''Papa please, please do I not deserve my own happiness as well?'' Copia turns to Primo, possibly the only one he can withstand now.
but only for Primo to place a hand on his shoulder, tapping slowly.
''No, we gave you our brother back not to play house with him, Copia. We gave him back to take over the world.''
''How pitiful, all this time you use the power that Satanas gave you for something else. If it was me I would have finished the job!'' The Second Emeritus crosses his arms.
''Maybe you can still learn your lesson, Cardinal'' Nihil chimes, before he slowly retreats.
All of the brothers, slowly retreat floating away from him.
''Wait no- please I can do more! I'll do more I promise just this once let me-!'' He couldn't finish his pleading as he looks down at where the floor is, His pants and shirt soaking wet, wet with blood as he shivered from the coldness and from what is actually going on. Trickles of the dark blood hitting the cold floor.
''No!''
Copia jolts up from the bed, cold sweat and tears drenching his body and the bed. He panics, heavy breathing and holding his face, chest, and tummy.
his yelping and panicking whines woke Terzo up, to which he can slowly see what was wrong. The Third Papa quickly holds Copia's arm as if to stop him from panicking.
''Amore, what's the matter?'' his hoarse voice breaks through only for Copia to turn to him, eyes red as his tears streams down his face.
''The baby- get Omega, please! please I beg you, Terzo!''.
3 am, 10 minutes have passed only for the quiet chamber to be filled with Copia's pleads and cries.
___________________
Terzo slowly lets out a sigh of relief after he closes the door. Omega had left, the two of them in the chamber letting out the worries that they have felt. Copia mostly, he’s slowly caressing his bulging stomach murmuring “you’re alright, thank hell you’re alright”.
“You had us worried Copia…” Terzo paces around the room , slicking back his hair. He admit he was panicking when he ran for the telephone ringing Omega up and trying to console Copia who was hysterically crying.
The baby was fine, just a few jostles and light stirring but Omega reassures them with a smile that he’s still alive, safe and sound inside Copia.
“I was worried that something happened…” Copia murmuring , watching his husband pace, if he had a tail it would be flicking by now.
“Over a dream? Copia you should know better than to trust a dream where my father is in it” He scoffed lightly shaking his head, the word 'father' thrown with spite out of his mouth.
“I woke up thinking that I lost the child and you think I’m over reacting? “
The aura in that room has changed , the familiar suffocating feeling that they always felt every night before the tea party.
“ I didn’t say that you were over reacting, you said it yourself!” He shrugs before slipping back on the bed. “Let’s just get back to sleep”.
“No! No I won’t let you just dismiss me like this Terzo” Copia’s words a little too loud this time, he holds onto the pillow tightly.
“Dis- what else do you want?! What else do you want to talk about then ? That my Father and Brothers aren’t happy with you? That you dreamt that what we were doing wasn’t enough? What is enough to you then Copia? Are you trying to make them happy or yourself happy?”. It is too early for him as he’s not thinking through the words he said. Only the pent-up feelings months ago. “I know what you did to Lucilla , Copia…on that morning” there is no anger this time, only sadness that looms over him.
But that sparked an outrage from Copia as he growls. “You ran off with her! You ran off with your ward!” He stood up , throwing the pillow to the side. “That was your seed! I did what I have to do - I did what’s right for us! For your stupid Emeritus family just because I couldn’t bear one! And now I do…” he pauses , holding onto himself as tears streaming down his face again, he lamented back on the night where he dragged Terzo back to his chamber, another fight broke up, lamps were broken, venom was spewed , he wanted to die that night. He wanted Terzo to snap his neck when he was on the bed , when their supposed mindless sex was supposed to at least become some kind of outlet for all their anger.
He remembered how he woke up in the early morning that day when not even the birds are singing , how he goes into Lucilla's chamber when Aether wasn't around, grabbing her harshly by the arms and pushing his hand on her stomach.
He remembers the warm feeling of his stigmata scarred hand as his papal power works its way through her small body. How she screamed, begged and cried for mercy.
But all he could replied back to poor Lucilla was
''Next time you tried something like this again, your child won't be the only thing gone''.
Oh how he regretted it.
He was waiting for Terzo to stood up and grab him, perhaps pushed him against the wall for saying such things.
But he didn’t, he just remained on the bed, eyes wet and the saddest he has ever been , looking back at him not with the yellow demon eyes anymore but with his mix-matched grey.
There is only sadness and it’s suffocating for the two of them, so Copia went out with the pang of the door vibrating the walls of the hallway.
—————
Sniffling, Copia tried to hold back his tears as he continues walking barefoot in the grass. He lets his legs carry him as his eyebrows furrowed. Through the midst of the night at 3:15 am, not a sound is heard saved from his own feet rustling which brings him to Primo’s tomb. Covered in ivy and dense vegetation, in the morning the flowers bloomed as if decorating the place but now it was as if in slumber, slowly swaying with the night breeze.
Copia falters and sits at the edge of the tomb, his panting seems to wake the cold air around the place as he looks up at the wall where a painting of Papa Primo adorned the space.
Pleading, wet eyes and perhaps begging for some kind of relief from his anxiety he calls out for Primo.
“Please, Papa…I don’t know what to do anymore…”
He sobs slowly, letting the tears drop onto the floor when a warm sensation hits him, almost enveloping him like a blanket. He looks up and was greeted by Primo’s phantom slowly hugging him back. He can feel the other’s weight a little even though he is rather see-through in the dark.
“What’s wrong Toppolino? What aches you so?” Primo’s ghostly hand caress Copia’s cheek, wiping his tears away.
“Papa I- I had a bad dream…you were there and so is Secondo and Nihil and - you said you were disappointed…disappointed that I didn’t do much more than expected…” Copia slowly lets it all out together with his tears.
“How could we toppolino? You did so much more than even the two of us could in our lifetime. We could only watch you proudly” he smiles softly tilting the other’s chin.
Copia sniffles a bit, he finally calms down for a moment feeling Primo's touch. His mind keeps reminding him of the terrible nightmare he had. His hand slowly caressing his tummy.
''I feel like I've lied to you two ever since… I didn't tell you about-''
''About how different you are?'' Another familiar voice chimed in with a green glow. Secondo slowly sits beside him with a grunt as if his knees still hurt like when he was alive.
''We knew how different you are. I could practically smell it on you even''. He snickers a bit. ''Eh, I've had my fair share of different flavors of people. It doesn't make you any less than who you are, Copia.''
Secondo sure doesn't look as angry as he was in his dream. Perhaps it really was just a silly dream after all. He remembers back what happened in the chamber and covers his face with his quivering hands.
''Oh, Terzo! oh, I've been so terrible to him…'' He regrets yelling at him, not just him perhaps...
He regrets letting his anger out of control. Even though that spite and anger is what made him able to conquer half of the world and drag Terzo out of Hell.
but at the cost of blood of course. Not just his.
Primo continues to soothe him slowly while Secondo lays his arms back, propping himself to look up at the ceiling.
''He'll be alright Copia. You're just upset. He gets it. We know our little brother.''
Copia lays his head slowly onto Secondo's shoulder, something he thought he will never do that even Secondo is surprised over it. He wraps his arms around Copia, gently rubbing his shoulder.
''Take care of that little one of yours for us si? we want to see him as well.''
The smaller man nods slowly, finally he smiles a little.
''I really can't wait.''
———-
''Dewdrop? is everything alright?'' Sunshine leans their head, hovering over the smaller ghoul who's sitting down on the floor. He's staring out towards the courtyard watching the flowers.
''Have the flowers...ever bloomed before?'' He keeps his eyes fixated on the colourful bushes, untrimmed yet somehow there is a pathway on the grassy dirt, like some kind of hidden map slowly unearthing itself.
''Hm not that I know of. I haven't been here long.'' Sunshine takes a spot beside him, crossing their legs and watching the courtyard as well.
''I've only been here since the early year? I think.'' They lamented on that, wagging their tail slowly. ''How long have you been here Dew?''.
The fire ghoul sighs slowly, brushing a hand through his short hair.
''A long time? I was here during Terzo's era.''
''Terzo? that long? But I thought the main guitarist was Ifrit right?'' They tilt their head again, watching Dew with curiosity.
The smaller ghoul leans back against the wall, exhaling with a puff.
Right...Sunshine doesn't know about that...well now that they're part of the pack, supposedly it would be alright to tell.
''See uhm, I'm not always a fire ghoul.'' He looks away a bit but the air ghoul managed to catch a glint in Dew's eyes.
a shift in tone, a slight tail tingling from the 'fire' ghoul.
''Were you a water elemental?''
Startled, Dew flinched back at looks at Sunshine straight on before nodding slowly. ''How did you know that?!"
''Well I can kinda guess? it’s s from your aura too, your tail colouring looks different , as if it's hue changes midway. And your horns, they're short as if it stopped midway as well as the -'' Sunshine makes a vague gesture at the broken part of Dew's horn.
''I guess...you've been through a lot''.
Dew nods, the ghoul didn't intend on dropping his whole trauma towards them.
How he was snatched from his chamber by bigger ghouls, and hauled into a ritual room with Sister Imperator and the other older ones. Fed and stuffed charcoal till his whole throat burns and skin crackles with glowing fire, as if flushing out all his previous element. His veins and bones felt like it has been cracked and rearranged into a new form. The pain was unbearable, his screaming deafening.
The worse part is both Terzo and Copia were unaware of it, only till Omega confessed what happened that is, which resulted in Terzo's rampage in Sister Imperator's room, almost burning half of the chamber himself with his own power.
He's always surprised by Terzo, how protective he is towards him.
My Little Droplet, he always calls him.
So it hurts him the most when Sister Imperator tasked him and a few other nameless ghouls in getting rid of the Papas, with him mostly having to handle Terzo.
The look in his Papa's eyes as he administers the poison into his neck. His murmuring of 'I’m sorry' towards him. It ached him so much that he cried so hard that evening to the point of exhausting his own fire, maybe hoping he'll turn back into a water ghoul, or perhaps he should have just drowned himself after what he did to his own Papa.
His own Papa, how cruel has fate been towards him? The only person who looked out for him aside from Copia.
Copia.
His tail flickered a bit remembering the other half of that incident.
Copia had somehow known. Somebody must have told him what happened since he had risen to papalcy. He remembered being confronted by Copia in his full face paint, leather vest and military jacket as dark as the burning charcoal in the fire place, it was uncanny seeing Copia so angry, so seething with rage. He doesn't scream, he doesn't need to. He simply grabbed Dew by his long hair, tugging the luscious locks till he felt like his own scalp would pull apart.
And then came the fire from Copia's own hand, burning and scorching Dew's ivory silver hair till it burned bright.
Bright red and orange like he has now.
He was so scared, so fearful of Copia from that on.
''You didn't even bother to tell me what you have done, for fear of what's going to happen to you?''
Copia's words rang in his head when he nodded, unable to even reply before Copia lets go, grabbing Dew's throat instead and placing enough pressure just to make the ghoul dizzy but awake enough to hear him.
''Then keep it to yourself, unless you want me to help you with it. Not like you need this anyway, no?''
There was madness in Copia's eyes, His white eye glowing bright into his skull. Dew's hands grabbed onto Copia's arms, he was flailing hard as he begged with his own body.
Copia the simply lets him go with a thud against the hard concrete floor. He ran fast, nails scratching the pavement hallway all the way back to his chamber.
Come to think of it, this is the same hallway that he had run through that night. Slowly he looks around at the floor and there it is, his scratch marks that he had left that night.
He did not come out that week until Swiss knocked on the door. Of course he tried to play it cool after Swiss's comment at his hair. But a pack member, no matter how long or soon they are together would always pick up on the small gestures. The ticks and flick of a tail.
Swiss didn't ask about it anymore after that, only casually letting it slide and giving Dewdrop his own time to tell the others over what happened.
He simply didn't tell another soul about it.
''Dew?'' Sunshine had once again snapped him out of his head.
Dewdrop shakes his head and chuckles toward them.
''Meh, it's a boring story. I simply got so bored of being a Water, so bam I'm a fire now.'' He said it with a grin.
''You're always so carefree Dew, I'm so jealous of you.'' They turn back towards the courtyard.
It seems like a storm is slowly approaching. Dew gestures with his tail towards Sunshine, getting up while straightening out his shirt.
''Come on, let's make some hot cocoa inside.''
They left but the scratch marks stayed, covered with the leaves from the wind blowing in the hallway.

7am
Terzo is walking aimlessly, looking disheveled as he finally reaches the crypt. He's panting hard, legs heaving, and not wanting to move a muscle. His bloodshot eyes now refuse to close as he tries to catch his breath.
He had been searching for Copia for what felt like days since he left their chamber hours ago. Terzo knows he snapped, he let the worse of him through again in what felt like progress for them these days . So he ran out and start to look for Copia.
But to no avail. He sits down on the grass and dirt, murmuring curses only to himself. ''Fucking hell Terzo, how could you lose him?!'' he grunts and grips his knees tight.
''How could you lose them?'' Slowly he looks back up again and in the distant, he sees a silhouette of a familiar man.
Copia looks tired but he's slowly jogs back towards Terzo, who's slowly getting up again the moment he saw him coming. Without a word or two they hugged, tightly.
Terzo planting small kisses on Copia's head while Copia murmuring thousands of apologies towards him. The third papa slowly cups Copia's cheeks, a warm smile appears on his face.
''Im glad you're alright caro, I'm so sorry - I wasn't thinking…those words just flew out'' a sad smile but he is glad , finally finding the other alright.
Copia shakes his head and hugs him tight. ''no no! I'm sorry, I shouldnt have yell at you like that…''
They stayed for a while on the grassy cobblestone in each other's arms, Terzo slowly rocking and cooing him. Copia's hand grazing Terzo's back in a rubbing motion. He thought hard, looking into the ground and feeling Terzo's warmth.
''I have to make amends to Lucilla…I have to fix what I did.'' He murmurs softly but loud enough for Terzo to hear. Terzo nods slowly, content.
''I want to make sure she's ok too…it wouldn't be fair… and Dew! oh Dew… I think it's time for a family dinner again no?''
''The little Droplet? si, he would love it. Remember the last time ? it was good to see his fire back.''
Copia chuckles, remembering the first dinner they had together at the dining hall. How all the ghouls chattered up , Dew grabbing the biggest turkey leg on the table, Sunshine even throwing salad over towards Mountain. As if theyre kids again.
''Lucilla...oh poor cara... I did her so dirty...and she still stood by me.'' Copia's hands clutches onto the fabric of Terzo's shirt tightly.
Terzo could only plant soft kisses onto the other's neck.
''Perhaps later you can go see her no? She won't be mad at you. I can promise you that.''
''Happily caro, happily.''
The sun is shining through the foliage of the trees, beaming soft lights toward the people at the tea party.
Terzo, well the ones without horns that is , is attending towards the guests with a hearty laugh. His brothers, who are alive and spared from Sister's wrath from another universe was also there, Dewdrop shuffling through the small crowd, grabbing a glass of wine with his tail, his hands are full with snacks that he managed to snatch earlier. He's catching up with Rain and the rest, presenting the snacks in front of them like some kind of treasure.
Cardinal copia stands around a few sisters and ghoulettes, most of them cooing and congratulating him , he smiles warmly and giggles before cracking a joke or two. He's wearing a knitted sweater ,in shade of red just like his once favorite red cassock. A small blanket in his arms, cocooned into what looks like a newborn baby, nuzzling and sleeping soundly in the Cardinal's arm.
Papa Copia's familiar voice greets him, to which he turns.
''oh! oh may I see?'' Papa Copia scoots in closer to the Cardinal, to which happily the doppelganger shows him.
''Her name is Camilla''. He smiles warmly, watching the small baby sleeping soundly. Her hair, jet black just like Terzo's but she bears Copia's pointy nose. Her cheeks rosy , almost looking like a porcelain doll. ''Yours?''
The Cardinal then turns to Copia's cocooned bundled of blanket as well, black this time. He's wearing his favourite satin shirt with an adorning smile on his face, slowly he unravels the small soft burrito. A sleeping baby, smaller than the Cardinal's. The baby, with dark brown locks decorating his head, mismatched green and white eyes looking back at the Cardinal with the cutest button nose. The Cardinal smiles in delight, cooing at the small thing.
''This is Raphael.''

I know I am inactive lately. Life got in the way. Again. But I still do draw small things, like this one!
A gift for my beloved @the-lisechen who writes wonderful Copia x OC fanfic. If you haven't checked their writing out yet then what are you doing? I cannot advertise enough how good and unique it is!
It's got everything! Pining! Slow Burn! Ecumenical dialogue! Traces of corruption, temptation and being a little bit fucked up about eachother! Smart people arguing!
You can find it on ao3 here: you found the ache in my argument

How about you speak those aether corruption thoughts out loud huh
Well you see
I think Aether does everything in his power to make sure he is the first one the new summons fall into bed with. Only he can do it. Only he can show them how good it feels to get touched. The others are too rough, too selfish. But him? Oh he’ll make sure they know how good it feels to be split open. How good it feels to be pinned. How good it feels to just let go and give in.
Maybe when Phantom and Aurora are summoned he can’t quit get to them. He’s so busy in the infirmary and fixing Copia’s fuck up with the taxes. But that doesn’t stop him from making sure he is the one who introduces them to all the things their new bodies can do. Maybe he sees Swiss getting cozy with them and he uses a little quint to keep him away? Swiss can wait his turn. Maybe he uses a little quint on Phantom during one of their guitar lessons? Not enough to make them slip, just enough to bring new sensations to light. And who knows? Maybe he stands outside of their room when they get back to the den just to listen to them whine while they try to figure out what feels good. Clearly they need a guiding hand.
He doesn’t even fuck them the first time he gets them alone. He just pulls them close, back to chest in front of his mirror. He makes them touch themselves how they’ve been doing it, just to see what they do. Oh he coos so softly.
“No wonder you asked for my help. You need someone to show you?”
He gets a hand around their cock. Buries his fingers in their cunt. He makes them cum again and again until tears collect in their eyes. He has to. He needs them to know how good it feels.
Think he does something similar to new Siblings too. I think Aether is one of the first ghouls all new Siblings meet. He is a kind and gentle ghoul and his quint lets him know if the new human needs any medical attention before they fully move into the Ministry. He’s not as possessive over them as he is the new summons so he doesn’t put in as much effort to get to them. But oh when the stars align and a new Sibling bashfully approaches him he loses it.
He loves how shy most humans are when it comes to sex. He loves watching them flush when he whispers filth into their ears as he undresses them. He loves the way they instinctively try to hide themselves. He loves spreading them open and showing them everything a demon can do. Ruining them forever. Knowing another human will never be able to satisfy them the way he does makes him throb.
He just loves being the one to show them how good it feels when you give in to sin.
#does that make any sense? who knows but I just think that ghoul is a freak#all quint ghouls are freaks and you won’t change my mind#I know damn well he’d talk you through it in the most sickly sweet and condescending way possible#golfball thoughts#the band ghost#ghost bc#nameless ghouls#shitghosting#aether ghoul

Hi can you pleaaaaassse do HCs about Copias corruption kink I’ll literally die
Have a little short nonny.
Innocence Is Overated (Copia x Reader)
You both have a kink.
Who does Papa turn to for confession with all his predecessors dead?
Copia has to try hard to convince himself once in a while. He’s a good man. He’s an honest man, well, sure, there's a little white lie once in a while, but he’s never hurt anybody with it. He’s never stolen, and he’s worked hard to get where he is now. (Even though he’s almost certain his name was drawn from a hat.) He keeps everything tidy. He’s frank. He’s polite. He’s a good man.
But his eyes are on you.
You’re new to the sisterhood and still wet behind the ears, with your habit on proper and not a hair out of place. You’re bright, you’re shiny, you’re fresh. You have a soft voice, a shy smile, and despite being a Sister of Sin, you have innocent eyes. He always sees you working, helping someone with their tasks or chores, volunteering to do more. You’re wonderful with the children, compassionate with the ghouls, and come up with fun games for both of them. You’re full of energy, your kind, you have such a sweet smile and give it to everyone, including him, you light up like a festive float anytime you cross someone in the halls. You're just so…pure.
And he wants to see you absolutely destroyed. He wants to see your mascara running with tears down your flushed cheeks. He wants to see your lipstick smeared and your lips puffy and kiss swollen. He was to see your neck decorated with a choker of bruises. He wants to see your tits suckled with bite marks. He wants to see your pussy, puffy and gummed with his leaking cum. He wants to take this pure ray of sunshine and turn it into the dirtiest fucking poster whore he can. He wants to wreck you in every way possible. Stain you in such a way nobody else will want you.
He’s a good man. He swears.
But any time he gets alone in his office, he imagines you and his cock throbs. He imagines you in his office dressed in all manner of skimpy things. Sometimes, it's your habit. Sometimes, it's a cute little plaid skirt. But more often, it's something white. Whatever it is he's flipping up your dress to slide off your cute panties (polka-dot, soft little clouds, even kittens) and stuffing his face between your thighs until your legs are quivering and you can barely stand. He imagines fingering your tight cunt and curling his digits until you sob his name just right and licks his lips at the thought of getting you to squelch.
He wonders if you’ve ever sucked cock before. He wraps a hand around his dick as it jumps at the thought that he’d be your first. Your eyes wide in alarm as he reveals to you his thick fat member and guides your hands down to wrap around it and get a feel for just how large he is. He’s the thickest you’ve ever had.
He imagines you swallowing nervously and looking up at him with a hint of fear.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle.” He promises. Oh don’t worry, he will. He’ll be gentle up until he manages to get half of it down your throat and then shoves in the other half without remorse. He’ll apologize. ‘An accident.’ He swears. But after that first gag and those first tracks of tears down your cheeks you’ll get the idea. You’ll try your hardest to get all of him down your throat, your pretty pink lips stretched around his cock and shiny with precum, spit, and your cherry chapstick.
He’d shower you with compliments and praise. You’d love it. He’ll help you discover your kink for it.
“Doing so good, taking me so well.” Your face would flush, and your thighs would rub together. You gag, you try your hardest to take him but your jaw hurts and he pulls you off gently by your chin and slaps your cheek with his wet, spit slick cock.
“Look at what you're doing to me. All that is for you. You're making me feel so good. Look how hard and wet I am for you." And you're wet and frustrated before he guides you to the bed and has you lay down. He pulls your legs apart and lines himself up.
Belial, you would be so tight, or perhaps it’s just been too long for you. Either way, you grip him like a vice and whimper when he stuffs you with his cock, he can feel your walls sucking him in and flexing around him as he pushes further and further into you and-
Copia grunts as the band in his lower stomach snaps and cum jets from his cock. He tightens his hand over his dick and squeezes before slowly gliding his fist over his shaft and milks himself of his release.
He sighs, slouching on his bed pillows, and lets his orgasm rumble through him. Then he reaches the nightstand and takes a few tissues, and cleans himself up.
This is always where the fantasy ends. He simply can’t help himself.
Satanas, what he would give for the real thing.
He's in the midst of cleaning up for the night when he hears a knock from his door and goes to answer only to finding you there with a flush on your face, that same flush he had been fantasizing about mere minutes ago. You're wearing a simple but thin tee-shirt with cartoon characters and a pair of shorts.
"Hello Papa...do you have a minute to talk?" And you're shifting your thighs just so, and he can't help but glance at your cleavage so obviously pronounced in your shirt. There, he sees a ruby red fabric with white circles, just barrly oeaking out from the low collar of your shirt.
Polka-dots.
And well...
...He does try very hard to be a good man.
